David Senoner, born in the heart of the Dolomites in Selva Val Gardena, is a distinguished sommelier, renowned for his deep-seated passion for wines and outdoor adventure.
We first met David while dining in Ortisei where he was our waiter and sommelier for the evening. He elevated our dinner with his Tyrolean charm and made our meals dance off our plates with his expert wine pairings, each selection perfectly complementing the flavors of our dishes. His wine knowledge combined with his genuine enthusiasm for sharing stories transformed our evening into an unforgettable culinary experience.
When David’s not uncorking bottles, you can find him on the slopes either hiking or skiing. Before venturing into the world of hospitality, David carved out a career on the snow, racing as a professional skier for Italy’s National Alpine Ski Team and coaching at the Olympic level.
